Pray that we would "Dare to Love" by allowing God to inspire us with a unique, compelling dream to love others.

Heavenly Father,

Today, we thank you for the dreamers. This group has been gifted with the ability to provide support to fund projects of need, or have God-sized visions to bless the community in ways that were not seen prior to their engagement. Some organizations who understand the value of a big dream are EFO and MOHI. EFO is changing the community of Edgewood for generations to come. The organization of MOHI is changing the trajectory of young men and women who may not have seen hope before. These men and women now have the hope of Christ. God is able to take these dreamer's visions and the support given, to multiply them in ways that could not be done on our own.

Dreamers have dreamt of a world where the race of an individual would be an afterthought, of a world where women in leadership is commonplace, and of a world where the many boundaries of society are being broken.

Lord, we pray that you quiet us so that we are able to hear your voice, and to be the dreamers you've called us to be right where you've planted us. We pray that each person is encouraged to listen and act upon the stirrings of their hearts.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. -Romans 12:6-8 (NIV)

Pray for those with depression and anxiety.

Merciful God, we thank you for your promises. Today, we lift up all those suffering with depression and anxiety.  This time of separation and uncertainty are all the more difficult for those who already suffer with this mental health condition and for those experiencing it for the first time now.  Loving God, we thank you that you hear us when we cry out to you and for your promise to be near to the brokenhearted and to those crushed in spirit. We ask that you would replace the darkness of depression with your light. Through your Spirit, Lord, we ask that you replace sadness and anxiety with your joy and peace. Help all those who are weary in spirit and lift them from the pit of despair.  Come quickly, Lord, to save those who are crushed in spirit and experiencing anxiety. We thank you, that you call all of us who are burdened and weary to come to you, and for your promise of rest for our souls. We call upon you now and cling to your promises.
