Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice! Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute! Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be  known to all men. The Lord is near. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God  something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. God, we thank you for the ways we’ve seen you work in the Herrnhut community during lockdown. Thank you for guiding us with peace and wisdom. We ask that you would continue to guide YWAM leaders all around Europe as decisions are made about upcoming training schools. Continue to be with the YWAM Herrnhut base as we discover what the “new normal” of ministry looks like. We also ask that you would be with the newlywed and soon-to-be-wed couples (Schmidts, Senns, Beutlers, Preises, Daamens) and guide these relationships with your peace and clarity. Heavenly Father, We pray for wisdom in Tanzanian leadership, focused on love for every person. Grant Your peace and protection to Tanzanians as they suffer loss, confusion, and fear as they seek to provide for and educate their families each day amidst this pandemic. Protect and encourage Pastors Tukiko and Philip and their families as they support their communities and seek to further the reach of JengoLife. Protect and provide for Dr. Charles through this time of uncertainty and waiting. Encourage his heart and vision for community ministry. Protect, encourage, and grant wisdom to Emanuel, Charles and Richie as they work with the plastics recycling business ministry. Lord, we ask that You would get this machine running. God, we ask that You would grant wisdom and compassion in the Labor and Immigration clerks as they process our permits. We ask for safety, patience, peace and joy for our family. Lord, we lift up the leadership of MOHI, including Wallace and Mary Kamau, during this unprecedented time. May you grant them wisdom to know how to best serve the 20,000 families in their ministry. Grant health and provision to these vulnerable children and families. May the Gerber family be a blessing to MOHI, as they adapt to relying on technology even more. May the staff grow in their reliance on you, and develop new ways to minister to people. Bless their daughter Hannah and give her a fun and rewarding summer. Our Father, God and Comforter.  Be with us as we yearn to love and serve in Abengourou, Ivory Coast. Be with our family in Christ there, Pastor Wisdom and the clinic. Allow the clinic to continue to get the necessary medical supplies even with borders closed. Enable the body of Christ in Abengourou to provide food for their neighbors along with the bread of life that lives within them. We ask for protection and your Providence to flow through our teammates, Ian and Kristen Isely, who remain there now. Thank you for this unexpected time back in the US; allow us to find peace and direction in the immediate future as we continue to abide in your sovereignty. Pray for support to be fully funded by August, currently at 79%. Pray for an end to the Coronavirus threat in the US, UK, and worldwide. Pray for sensitivity to justice in the church. For all people from the moment they are conceived for the full life God gives them, no matter the category society may place them in. May there be unity in the church brought about by the presence of the Holy Spirit and meaningful reconciliation between all people. May God give grace to Muslim people worldwide, that they may see and desire Christ for who he truly is: God incarnate who takes away the sin of the world for all who believe and lives still today through his Spirit who dwells in those who believe.
