Pray for Governor Larry Hogan, his staff and state leadership.

God, we thank you for Governor Larry Hogan and the work he and his staff have done in order to lead Maryland to the best of their ability during this time. We pray for rest, strength, and guidance as they continue to make decisions and work through COVID-19. God, thank you for the leaders in our lives and we pray that we can be leaders to others.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. - 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NIV)
