Pray for Baltimore City/County Police Officers as they work to maintain peace and order where they work.

Lord, thank you for the men and women who have answered the call to civil service by policing streets, neighborhoods, communities and cities.  Today, we pray especially for those who police in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.  We pray for protection from harm and protection from illness.  Help those with whom they come into contact with, listen to and respect the authority they have been given by the State of Maryland. Thank you for their sacrifice to keep us safe and our communities in order.

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you - Hebrews 13:17 (NIV)
